hello!!

so this past week was a school trip to the pelopennese. we went to epidarus first. i'm doing a paper on this place so that was pretty exciting. and there's a theater there where the acoustics are so good that when someone whispers on the stage you can hear it anywhere in the theater. when i was sitting in the back row so a good 100 yards away someone dropped a coin on the stage and i heard it like it was next to me. so cool, and the mountains around there were so gorgeous.
then we went to megalopolis which isn't a cool site but was very fun. so the gate was locked up the day we went so my class along with my 2 professors hopped the fence and broke into an archeological site. then one of my professors tried to break open the lock but no luck so we all had to climb back out at the end of lecture.
then on to olympia. that was so beautiful. that's in the part of greece that is super lush and green and all the trees were blossoming and there were wildflowers everywhere. it was so much fun!we putzed around olympia for a couple of days and we managed to see the eclipse which was pretty cool. the last night me and some friends ate with the professors so that was an amazing meal. they ordered all the good appetizers and i got soutsoukakia which is football shaped spicy meatballs. so good.

all in all the week has been pretty fun.
